Women's Ministries
Arlean Campbell, Administrative Assistant, 301-320-3434 x204
Our Vision--Women's Ministries at Fourth Church seek to pour the gospel of Christ into women so that, being transformed by the Holy Spirit, they will grow in relationship with God and pour out the love and grace they’ve received into our church and community. Bible Studies – Opportunities for women to gather in small groups to grapple with Scripture and its application to our lives that they may know the Lord, His character and His promises more deeply. These studies are also excellent opportunities to connect in a real way with other women at Fourth Church and to invite friends into our fellowship. Prayer – Opportunities to join together with the Body of Christ in prayer, which is the foundation of all we do. For more information or to get connected with any of these ministries, please e-mail Melissa Carder, Director of Women’s Ministries, or call 301-320-3434 x275.
We pursue this call by:
1) coming into the Lord's presence through prayer and His Word,
2) by fostering biblical relationships within the body that both encourage and challenge, and
3) by sacrificially serving our church, community and world.
Fellowship – Opportunities to connect with other women in our community.
Opportunities to Serve – Our desire as women’s ministries is to equip women that they might grow in grace and move outward in service to the church and the greater community. Here are a few of the many opportunities to serve.
Missions - Our current participation and outreach to global missions
Events - Special events for fellowship and equipping within the body and outreach to those beyond our walls
Annual Fall Conference – A Saturday conference during which women will explore a theological topic with a morning speaker, share lunch together and then apply the morning talk to their lives in break-out sessions led by Fourth women. Look for details in the spring.
Annual Spring Retreat– A weekend of worship, fellowship and teaching in a relaxed environment.
