Evening Service Change

Effective September 12, 2010, the Evening Worship Service will return to the Sanctuary.

New Members Class

Our Church: FOURTH PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH, part of Evangelical Presbyterian Church (EPC), is people -- people committed to Jesus Christ. Each member is a vitally unique and important person in our church family. At the same time, we are a large church with over 2800 membership, and an old church, 182 years.

The Class: This course of six lessons is planned so interested people will learn who we are and what we believe. At the same time, we hope to get to know you and make you feel at home. You will also learn what it means to be a member of FOURTH and have the opportunity to join. Attendance at these six lessons is required for all who want to join FOURTH, whether by initial profession of faith in Jesus Christ or by letter of transfer from another church.

Organization: Each lesson starts with a presentation by a Pastor on a topic that is vital to our Church. For the last 30 minutes, in lessons one through five, the Class will be divided into permanent, small discussion groups, each led by Elders of Fourth Church. Prospective members are encouraged to familiarize themselves with Fourth's Confession of Faith and with EPC's Essentials of Our Faith.

The 2010 Fall semester's class is September 22 through November 15 on Wednesday evenings after Fourth Night dinner, 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm, in Miers Memorial Chapel. Click here to sign up online.
